128k Analog Board fix/advice

Trying to figure out the best way to fix this. Any advice? Maybe superglue it down before soldering from the back?
And what's up with the resistor attached to the capacitor? I'm gonna recap anyway if I can fix the janky connector but I thought it was kinda weird.

Heres a pic of a board i was recently working on

that connector you have does not look original and it has wires coming from it instead of legs. As long as it is soldered in correctly it should be fine

there is no stress on the connector , no pulling / pushing - it only has the weight of the lead that connects to it

super glue is not a good idea with vintage anything to be honest - once it goes on its there for ever

a bit of clear silicone would secure the connector - wait till your finished the work and when all is good stick it on there with some - just be careful when disconnecting the cable

as for the resistor - ive seen them on a few boards now - must have been an alteration by apple - leave it alone

hot glue .......... couldnt think of that name for the life of me

would be best if you got a new connector and soldered that in there - theres still enough copper on the back of the board to solder the legs which would properly secure it and run what ever wires you need to make all connections
