Need Resistor Value from PowerMac 7600 Power Supply Delta DPS-150GB

I was replacing caps in a monitor and other things so I figured I would do the 7600 psu while I was doing everything. It was working before, but I wanted to refurbish it and check joints. All redone and should be good for the rest of my life! im not a psu person, but the output from the bridge...

Need Resistor Value from PowerMac 7600 Power Supply Delta DPS-150GB

Just to follow up: I ordered metal-film E96 845k resistors and put the PS back together. Everything is working perfectly. Nice to have that PS rebuilt. Thanks again for checking for me!

Schematic and/or repair advice for Performa 6400 150W PSU (Apple part #614-0060, Delta model number DPS-150GB B)

Actually thanks to user obsolete, they determined that the value is 845K ohms. Hope that helps anyone who comes across this.

Need Resistor Value from PowerMac 7600 Power Supply Delta DPS-150GB

Thank you very much, this is a great help! I was tracing through the diagram to try to figure out what is was doing. The output of bridge rectifier goes into positive side of capacitor C1, but that also goes through R41 that then goes to R42, where I lose what is happening. I really appreciate...

Schematic and/or repair advice for Performa 6400 150W PSU (Apple part #614-0060, Delta model number DPS-150GB B)

Resurrecting an old thread here. I posted in another forum without luck. I am also rebuilding this PS, and in the image above from Imsi4126, you can see that below C1 is a large blob of glue. I removed that glue when replacing C1 because it was really holding it down. Later, I realized that R41...

Need Resistor Value from PowerMac 7600 Power Supply Delta DPS-150GB

Rather the pinging an old thread about this power supply, I am asking broadly. All, I am refurbishing the power supply on my PowerMac 7600. When replacing C2, I had to remove all of the white adhesive around it, and it turned out there was a resistor in there that was pulled from its leads...

    Bolle Carrera040 issue with Macsbug

Thanks, that is what I was suspecting in my original post. I just wasn't sure. Searching 68kmla, I couldn't find any posts about this from Geekdot; however, searching the web, I found his wonderful series of articles looking at how the Carrera040 driver gets another processor up and running...

    Bolle Carrera040 issue with Macsbug

Colleagues, I have been running my SE/30 with GW ROM installed (using standard IIsi) and Bolle's Carrera040 clone without issue for some time. I have been using TMON Pro as my debugger, but now that I am doing some development on this machine as well as on a PPC machine running OS9, I wanted to...

    Recapping a NeXT Cube

Sorry for the delay, but I want to update everyone. I wasn't able to get to this all summer, but today I cleared a couple of hours and was able to replace the SMD electrolytics without any further issue. I guess that first time was the anomaly. I ended up getting some solder tweezers, and I used...

    Recapping a NeXT Cube

Thanks all, I have ordered some soldering tweezers and will try again sometime soon. Regarding snipping or twisting them off, I will likely resort to that for any troublesome caps that don't want to lift with the tweezers.

    Recapping a NeXT Cube

Thanks! I'll take a look at the tweezers.

    Recapping a NeXT Cube

Thanks! I guess, it is the more heat that worries me as everything just lifted from 330C heat (though it could be counter-intuitive to me). I think reflowing is a great idea. I plan to redo all of the caps, but the first went so poorly, I've stopped there. The through holes should be straight...

    Recapping a NeXT Cube

I need your experienced advice. Some background: I have recapped about half a dozen Macintosh logic boards, never with a single issue. I don't have a desoldering gun, but I will typically just use flux and solder wick to draw out the solder from under the SMD electrolytics. Always has been...

    NeXTStation Clock Doubler!

Sorry, I have a non-turbo (25 MHz) Cube. Wikipedia has a nice-resolution photo you can zoom into for the 25MHz Cube. I can take a finer if you prefer. I took a number of measurements for you. I have a lower res photo attached with dimensions below to give you a sense for fitment. The 68040...

    NeXTStation Clock Doubler!

I pulled my Cube logic board today, and the CPU is socketed. I can do some measurements for you to check the fitment. Just send me the dimensions of the board. I could 3D print a mockup too.

    NeXTStation Clock Doubler!

There was a 50MHz accelerator advertised for the cube: Orb Pyro. I don't know if it ever shipped, but it states: Other than the link above, I haven't found any technical details or whether it ever shipped. Anyone know?

    NeXTStation Clock Doubler!

This is great! I have my original NeXTCube I need to dig out. Apart from possible physical fitment issues, I would think that this should work with the cube motherboard. At least with the cube, I can put the motherboard in any slot to make room (just have to get different drive cables to reach...
