    using something like duco cement, or a good expoxy, and depending on how bad the damage is, bonding it from the inside...the plastic is usually brittle....and in certain cases, begins to go thru 'yellowing'

    gotta love OS6...ran fairly well on these machines..system 7.0 and 7.1  really slowed'em down..unless you were using an SE/30 etc..but for something powerful-yet simple..the SE, was as good as it got..especially if you were lucky enough to have a laserwriter hook to it...

    yup. they are useless in running,,due to the extreme limitations of only 128k of ram...they were supposed to ship with far more ram at the time of it's debut..but then higher ram prices killed that notion..however, just having the computer that literally changed american culture, is...

    wow, nice find...pleased to see another compact mac saved from the landfill......the old SE's, were quite the workhorses...and the later ones which sometimes read FDHD, were great machines of the era....
