    Quadra 650 ROM Simm ...

Haha, yeah, that IS a fair point, another “easy way” is to lift rhe VCC legs on the onboard ROM chips. I did that on the 475 when I did the first development.

    Macintosh 68060 Redux

It sure does :). I'd say that is probably the best base for a "generic" 68060 ROM for 475/575/605/650/800. Also absolutely amaing work! Very scientific and analytic, not like the usual "quick fix" myself tends to lean on :D. Do you know how much rom space the ISP and other things occupy? or...

Testers Needed: Modified ROM for LC475/Q605

Interesting, maybe this is also the reason why apple never officially supported 128MB on these machines? I have several spare High Resolution Video cards, can send one in next package.

Testers Needed: Modified ROM for LC475/Q605

Do you have any Nubus video cards? Would be worth seeing if you get display there and it does a full boot.

    Power Macintosh PPC ROM DIMMs

Pretty sure they had a LC PDS programmer with a DIMM socket and then flashed them using the Flasher tool on a Q605 machine. @dougg3 built an LC programmer (and later I made a proper board for it): https://www.downtowndougbrown.com/2023/12/more-fun-with-apples-internal-tools-creating-a-pds-card/...

    Power Macintosh PPC ROM DIMMs

Interesting that they used AM28F020 for those, it's also the same they used for the LOBOS board: https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/lobos-board-strange-apple-rom.39963/ And the STB3 (although in a different form factor)...

    Power Macintosh PPC ROM DIMMs

Me and @dougg3 discussed this topic like 2 years ago (time flies) :D, the idea was to make an adapter for the ROM SIMM Programmer that also could do the PPC ROMs, but at that time the biggest issue was us sourcing the necessary female slot connector (PPC ROM SIMM connector) for the adapter...

Hi! Yeah! I got the first batch last week and they are electrically sound, I made a little mistake on the silkscreening which is corrected, but I have a couple of the prototypes here I can sell you. I’ll take some pictures and send you.

You might be able to squeeze any of the LC boards into a 10”. I looked at it for my LC630, but that board was just a tad too wide. This is my 630 also :) It’s lacking a front plate but is otherwise finished. Running the HD of an industrial CF card. And has an Ethernet card.

Is my Performa 475 killing the VRAM?

If headphones also are dead then it seems likely that the DFAC is fried :(, but I have never seen that before to be honest, but there is a first for everything. Have you check with scope also? The very last super stupid comment would be to do a pram reset and check the volume settings in the...

Is my Performa 475 killing the VRAM?

Tape up good with kapton tape to avoid getting heat in the wrong places. Just a stupid comment, but have you checked the audio connector? No sound with headphones either? It's a very issue otherwise.
