Haha, yeah, that IS a fair point, another “easy way” is to lift rhe VCC legs on the onboard ROM chips. I did that on the 475 when I did the first development.

I otherwise have ROMs here (Sweden) that work in the Quadra 650, can send it pre flashed.

It sure does :). I'd say that is probably the best base for a "generic" 68060 ROM for 475/575/605/650/800. Also absolutely amaing work! Very scientific and analytic, not like the usual "quick fix" myself tends to lean on :D. Do you know how much rom space the ISP and other things occupy? or...

Interesting, maybe this is also the reason why apple never officially supported 128MB on these machines? I have several spare High Resolution Video cards, can send one in next package.

Do you have any Nubus video cards? Would be worth seeing if you get display there and it does a full boot.

Me and @dougg3 discussed this topic like 2 years ago (time flies) :D, the idea was to make an adapter for the ROM SIMM Programmer that also could do the PPC ROMs, but at that time the biggest issue was us sourcing the necessary female slot connector (PPC ROM SIMM connector) for the adapter...

Do you have some pictures of the rear of it? Just curious how they did with the Nubus slots huven they are reversed with PCI.

You might be able to squeeze any of the LC boards into a 10”. I looked at it for my LC630, but that board was just a tad too wide. This is my 630 also :) It’s lacking a front plate but is otherwise finished. Running the HD of an industrial CF card. And has an Ethernet card.
