i have a few of these plastic macbooks under my bed somewhere, maybe one or two i have that still work... gonna put 10.6.8 on it and see what i can do with it
just got a very cheap 5300 board on ebay in case i couldn't get the 6360 one working (i know it needs a 3.3V relay of some sort)... just need to solder on a new CPU because the one on the board was damaged. luckily i have a spare CPU from a dead powerbook 5300c.
hmmm that would be interesting... a 7447B (which is what i've got) ibook clamshell... lol
the hardest part i think is getting the firmware to work with it. that would already be one hell of a performance boost from the G3/400...
also, how would i get my hands on one of the interposers?
yeah i'm really considering doing this because i need to put my 6360 board to good use, also i don't see myself getting a more proper board upgrade anyway seeing as how expensive and rare they are now
