What exactly does "-x" mean on the SE/30 Schematic redraw ?

Sorry for this noobie question but what does this mean? It can't be ground, those pins are obviously marked and it can't be to nothing, those pins are left off the schematic so I'm lost on pins going to -x.

Anyone wanna help me troubleshoot my Simasimac Reloaded SE/30 board?

Just went through every single pin for every single address and data line per the schematic redraw matrixes.... exhausting. Everything checks ok.

    SE/30 Reloaded. Strange clock signals?

I have a reloaded board in a Simasimac status. Current clock signals are: Y1 = 32Mhz in spec Y2 = 32Mhz in spec GLUE PIN 17 = 32Mhz in spec GLUE PIN 18 = 16Mhz in spec Y3 = Erratic, Intermittent supposed to be 16Mhz? Sometimes around 10, sometimes no reading. Anyone have any idea what might be...

General Logic Unit? Seems you're correct. Says GLUE on the SE/30 silkscreening. What does the E stand for ?

Which other Macs have suitable GLU chips for the SE/30?

absolutely not sure but it's my best theory at the moment because it had a good deal of corrosion when it came off the bombed board. Pins were OK and it cleaned up ok. Wouldn't hurt to have another if I can pick up a iici or whatever relatively cheap.

Testing chips in circuit with an Oscilloscope

(for idiots perhaps...). I've got a Simasimac reloaded SE/30 board and I suspect the GLU chip is at fault. It cleaned up well but was kinda rough when I got it off the bombed board. I have checked all pin continuity several times and everything checks out to destinations. No bridges also...

I did try but nobody ever responded to my request. I might pop in every once in awhile. I just noticed this was the exact issue I'm currently having with my reloaded board.

A few SE/30 Reloaded Build Questions

It's true. Apologies for asking again but I figured I'd get all my questions in one post and was still hoping there would be some way to test it with an oscilloscope, multimeter and the datasheet if it exists. I will accept defeat lol.

A few SE/30 Reloaded Build Questions

As I’m working on an SE/30 reloaded board, a few questions have arisen, If anyone would like to offer any knowledge or advice, I’d appreciate it. 1] U32 Crystal Oscillator (see pic) appears to be polarized based on the silkscreen on the board? As I was cleaning the parts, the writing on the top...
