    Quartz

i dont think it can be enabled for both PCI and AGP cards, i think it has to be one or the other.

    Panther-ised! With a BIG issue though :(

I normally put all of my drives in single master mode anyway if its the only drive on that IDE channel. But with the WD 120gb HDD in my Beige G3 AIO i could have the drive set in Master with slave mode or in single master mode and not have a issue booting OS X. the same goes for the Pioneer...

    G3 AIO RAM

yes it cantake non low profile sticks its the only Beige G3 that can cause there is allot of room above the ram. i just hope you dont mean high density and low density ram, cause the Beige G3 will only work with low density.

Slow Internet Connection on G3 All-In-One 500 MHz on DSL

i never had a issue like that on my Beige G3 AIO in OS 9.2.2 with the stock hardware or upgraded hardware. i ran it on 1.6meg DSL and a 15meg cable internet and it flew on the net using both the onboard 10 base t ethernet (in OS 9.x or OS X) and the belkin wireless G+ PCI card (worked in OS X...

    Recent conquests

on a Beige G3 AIO the monitor is connected to the personality card, the internal Mic is connected to the personality card (which dont work in OS X, but if you plug a external Mic to the Mic jack on the back the internal Mic will work in OS X but not the Mic you plugged in). the front board with...

    Recent conquests

OS X might but don't count on it. the wings card in OS X is basically the same as having the whisper card cause of lack of drivers ot support it, and the AIO's monitor connects to the personality card to get its signal. so many functions do not work in OS X on the Beige G3. you will have to use...

g3 Beige no video after upgrade, hard drive problem.

it would depend on the Beige G3 model, one or two models used a standard ATX PSU , and a few used a Apple PSU. the Beige G3 mobos can use both, there is a little jumper next to one of the PCI slots that is used to select what PSU is being used

    gig-e washed out video problem

it could be the connector on the video card not making a good connection for the monitor. they might need cleaned, or buy a new video card

g3 Beige no video after upgrade, hard drive problem.

I would try for 433 or 466 since the bus speed is only 66mhz. i am not sure (cant remember) if you can reach 500 with the stock jumper block without OCing the bus to 83mhz in a Beige G3 that CPU made for being on a 100mhz bus so that should give you a little head room for OCing it. putting any...

    So, Beige G3's.

yea i would think also as well but i have a Yikes G4 that i tried it on and it actually hurt performance. the most systems that i have seen that has performance issues wit PCI Extreme was the B&W and Yikes sysyems. i didnt have a bit of issues on my Beige G3 with it enabled. my Beige G3 AIO...

    So, Beige G3's.

that is one hell of a Beige G3 its what i wanted to do to my Beige G3 AIO. i use to run dual monitors on my AIO very nice to have. do you have PCI extreme enabled on it (a enabler to force Quarts extreme on PCI Macs with compatable video cards). i enabled it on my AIO in my sig and the GUI ran...

    Leopard on G3 AIO?

good choice, My Beige G3 AIO runs tiger quite well. Leopard strugles at times on my Digital Audio G4, it would probably bring the Beige G3 (with G4 upgrade) to its knees

    Upgrading my Beige G3

i used a G3 450 CPU from a B&W (it clocks up to 466mhz in the Beige G3 cause of the 66mhz bus in the Beige) it runs great. i also have 768mb ram in my AIO which alows it to use less vmem and makes it run better ( in OS X) in OS 9 vmem it turned off. a PCI Radeon 7000 makes thing even...

    DVD Player for old powermacs

what i did was get a Radeon 7000 Mac edition and a Pioneer DVR-110D and all was good, in OS 9.2.2 with the hacked DVD player on http://www.os9forever.com/ even tho the DVD playback is software (not needing a hardware decoder) the Radeon 7000 was still the only card that DVD's would play on...

    Kitty

ha no offense but sonic looks like he is a stoner in that Picture. heck when they are in their lazy mode thay all do. i had a Japanese bobtail ( i loved that cat) but she got lost during a move and haven't seen her since. she was smaller then a normal cat but she was feisty and sometimes mean...

Newton 2000 - just went blank

most of the times you can just press the reset button and it will spring back to life. my MP2100 did that a few times. the first time i wigged out cause i just bought it. i remembered about the reset button ( cause in reality the newton 2000/2100 does not really turn off when you slide the power...

    G4 (sawtooth) graphic cards

you could flash a PC 6200 AGP for that thing. a AGP Geforce 6200 (has to be the wang version) would work better then a 7000 PCI or AGP, or you could use a Radeon 9800 Pro in it as well. i think those are the Max cards you can use in them since its AGP 2x normally any Apple card (even if its a...
