    MacIntosh Plus Analog Board question

IIRC BR103 is not a direct replacement of the original and no longer available Q12. sorry but the BR103 is not reversed in you picture, again, i think it should be the opposite of the footprint in the board.

    Floppy drive microswitch issues

So if i am not mistaken, the switch you are talking about is SW2. Center pin is not connected to anything, and just a mounting point. One side is connected to ground, the other side to pin 46 of the Sony CX20185 chip. This chip is a read/write amplifier, so when the carrier is down, pin 46...

    Floppy drive microswitch issues

Not clear to me but the switch should be normally open when there is not disk inserted, and closed when the disk is in, and the to carrier is in the bottom position. Your best option is to have a copy of the schematics and using a multimeter, have a look at what trace goes where and see what's...

Restoring a Lisa keyboard and could use a few tips

I agree with the acetone from the inside, you can apply a small amount with a Q-tip and press both sides when wet. The bound should be invisible and pretty solid, i have tried the method and is pretty awesome if you take your time. any other method is ok, but not as solid though. If you go...

FIND] Original Lisa 1 (Twiggy) from Apple Engineer’s estate – French AZERTY unit

Bonjour également, Stepleton will help you for sure, probably knowing Lisas inside and out, he also has several machines, equipment and connections. Yes, I think the first step is to get this French system archived. A Lisa 1 with the original faceplate and Twiggy drives is very sought...

    New to me Apple][e collection.

The Unidisk (3,5) can be used on the Apple IIc and is plug and play. But to be used with the Apple IIe, you need a card. Not many were sold (as most of the games and software was available in 5,25 size) The Unidisk can also be used in the Apple IIgs IIRC. This drive is special, this is not...
