Attempted to run the test on my Quadra 840AV but every time I launch the app, the whole system locks up. This machine is running System 7.6.1 and is a vanilla Quadra 840AV.

Quadra 950 (System 7.6.1) This first one is just running the test and that's it. This second one is moving the mouse around the entire time that the test is running.

Quadra 700 (System 7.6.1 .. has Bolle's quad doubler)

PowerBook 540c (System 7.6.1, overclocked to 40MHz and has full 040 with FPU)

IIfx (System 7.1.1) I know you didn't ask for it but it was set up on my desk so thought might as well. Apologize for the cursor being there, didn't notice until after I uploaded the picture but the values underneath it are zeros.

I don’t have time until this weekend. But if no one else gets it done before me, I can do it for a PowerBook 500, PowerBook Duo, Q700, and Q950.

If I remember correctly there are two enable signals, one for internal and one for external, both from the IWM. Curious if they might be shorted causing the internal to respond as both external and internal. Or maybe something’s wrong along these lines with the IWM. I think there is a shared...

Yeah that looks pretty cool. I also finally got a PowerPC card but I am still running 7.6.1. I think I will always be a System 6/7 person.

Did you try the 470 ohm resistor on the /req line like I mentioned in the other thread. I assume your active terminator was on the external scsi port, that didn‘t help me.

No, for the 500 series PowerBooks, it's purely mechanical with no magnets. Just a spring and latch.

Replaced the front facing cover panel (the one with the latch) with another, and it works fine. The latch mechanism itself seems to be the same, nothing broken or missing. But it looks like the hook itself may have deformed on the ones that aren't locking. They are bent backwards slightly...
