All of these electrolytic capacitors have finite lifespans. The ones from the 80s are now at the point where they are beginning to fail. All of the capacitors will need replacing at some point.

You can replace the fly back and transistors seperatly. Finding the flyback may be slightly difficult, but either DigiKey or Mouser should have the transistor you need.

All three of these machines can have AV functionality. You just decide how you want to get AV functionality ;) .

Comparing the LC475/Q605 and the Q630 logic boards makes the 630 seem much more complex, like the 610 and 650/800. Of course the Q630 is a low-end Quadra, but it sure can bang out some great 040 performance. RE: the 610 case, I hate the front power button on it. It would be okay if you could...

Nice! This video switching is slightly different. It's all 4052s, controlled by a MCU. Five ports, 4 in, 1 out.

Yup. I would love to put a 2nd PDS pass through too. Unimplemented for some people, or implemented for others. All boards will have the holes though for economies of scale (and for upgrading later if desired). I don't know if there is any sort of PAL work required to build a 2nd PDS slot, or if...
