Help me figure this one out. I'm in the process of liberating a Q950, and the ADB doesn't work. Pulled the Nubus cards thinking 3 digidesign cards were pulling too much power, and the ADB would be the first to go. That, I think was not the case. Replaced the battery, and that did not work. Any...

As for another drive, I'd take out the floppy and put the drive in there. I don't know if this is possible, because I'm tired.

A Q700 is my main (old) machine. Does almost everything. I've got a Digidesign 442 card & box for it, can run protools and record 4 tracks of simultaneous audio. Really neat. Gonna get a CD burner for it and have it be a second tracking setup. I have Finale and SoundDesigner on it, too...

A thought just occurred. I'm dealing with sense pins, right? How about just putting a paper clip, trimmed just right, into those pins where the mac senses them? I'd bet they have to be grounded, but take a look at this blog, and you'll see where I got the idea from...
