Hey I would be glad to! I installed 8.1 again, but this time I formatted the Hard drive as Mac OS Standard. Then I install a minimal 8.1. I boot into that and put my 7.6 CD into the tray and install a "clean Install" onto the 8.1 drive. Then I install the orinoco drivers and now I have a speedy...

I can view the files on my Mac mini. And I've booted (recently) 8.1 and had that install, but I installed 7.6 from the 8.1 install and it says on boot " This system disk cannot be used on this macintosh model" because I forgot 8.1 uses HFS+ and I didn't format the hard drive.

Hello all, I have a .toast file with Mac OS 7.6 on it. I know the file works because it was tested before being sent to me. I burn it in Toast ( 7.1 ) and go to boot up my 1400, I get the floppy with the question mark. I've burnt this 4-5 times with no avail, any help?
