I got a PowerBook 145B once for $5 but because I didn't have a power adapter (and the battery was dead), I eventually sold it after it sitting around for a while.
Nice. I have to say I am a fan of the Key Lime. But I only have Indigo, Blueberry and Tangerine iBooks. The hard drive in my Indigo is really loud too. Unfortunately I don't have a 2.5" IDE hard drive anywhere so I can't really do anything about it.
Congratulations on your new purchase. Firstly, if its a brand new one, you can set up a right mouse button with the trackpad. Or if you don't, holding down Control while clicking does a right click. There's also an application for Windows specially designed for Macs running Windows to use...
That's quite awesome. I've always been interested in replacing hard drives with solid state storage. There are even some guides on how to replace an iPod's hard drive with a CF card that I'm quite interested in.

dd if=DiskImage.image of=/dev/floppy bs=84 skip=1
Make sure that /dev/floppy is your floppy drive. It seems to be relevant to the distro you use. The distro I...
I currently use iMovie HD (from iLife '05) and I think it's alright. I had a try of iMovie '08 in the Apple Store (not really enough to make a final judgement of it) and it looked much more confusing than the iMovie HD that I'm used to.
Cool, I've always liked the design of the original iBooks. I've got a whole bunch of them currently. I'll be selling all except one that I'll keep for myself.
