Oh avadondragon that's really useful to hear - I've got an SE with an accelerator that I was completely stumped by - I'll carefully bend the frame to get it out. A recap needs doing!

Oh and make sure you take a photo of location and/or write down the values of every capacitor before you remove them! There are probbably charts out there, but best to make sure you cover your arse ;)

Yep everyone's right. 1. recap (remove the caps, clean the hell out of the board with a toothbrush and hot water with a bit of washing up liquid, leave to dry like the dishes but for a day or two, put the new caps in) 2. open up the hard drive and just give the head a little nudge to work it...

@Schmoburger sorry dude, not found anything. I have tours for the SE, SE/30, Portable and some generic ones, but nothing for the Plus :( I'm off to pick up *a lot* of stuff this Thursday from an old guy getting rid of all his collection. There are a lot of disks and he has a Plus, so I may...

What would be even neater would be to have patches for all systems, especially 6 & 7... but my 128 would probably like it for 5 too... and others on here would probably like it for 8 & 9 as well right?

Has anyone got a manual for the Outbound 125, that either they would be willing to send me, or copy, whether via scanning, or just phone camera photos of each page? I've not been able to find anything on the web, a PDF or something would be lovely. It would really help me out! Thanks!

Great thanks for the tips! I've gotten a new camcorder style battery but was having trouble with the keyboard battery :)
