So it would seem that DVI normally uses the RGB colour space. HDMI can either use YCbCr or RGB but my capture card can only handle 'YCbCr'. Unless there is a way to make it use 'YCbCr'(which I don't think there is), it looks like I won't be capturing off of my Macs that way.
I used to play some of those on the iMacs in our school's library I was in middle school. I think PangeaSoft is still around: http://www.pangeasoft.net/about.htmland you can still buy there games. These days they are making games for iOS.
I am trying to hook my macs up to my video capture card using a DVI to HDMI adaptor. The capture card says it's out of range even when it's displaying at resolutions I know it can handle. Any thoughts on this?

It was indeed a jumper problem. I had to get some help getting the try with the drives out. Thanks to my DVD-ROM upgrade I can now boot a PowerPC Ubuntu Live CD. :)
Hi:
So I have a PowerMac G4 'Yikes!'. I replced the DVD-ROM with one that can read DVD-R disks. I have a Zip 100 drive installed. The problem is it will no longer boot, the monitor does not power on but I do hear the startup chime. If I have either the Zip 100 or DVD-ROM installed it works but...
Uh I see, those aren't 'show stoppers' for me but I think I'll keep my Apple 'approved' DVD-ROM in case other programs might have a problem as well. The issue I have with it is, it can't read certurn burnt disks.(DVD-R's are one of them.) I can use my Mac Mini's DVD-ROM over Firewire but the...
