Swans S3W speakers with matching amplifier (it's the tiny aluminum cylinder which serves as a volume control too)

Just set them up an hour ago, but so far, I am absolutely...
It's my first-ever Sony camera, and for a camera this small, I think it's great, seems well-made, even has a metal tripod socket. My first W300 had flakey optics and looked noticeably fuzzier on the lefthand side than on the right, but #2 seems just fine. Nice luminous quality to the photos with...
I bought one of those things when they were new, but it's long gone now: I probably sold it somewhere along the way. I also had the optional closeup lens attachment.
OTOH, I bought my latest camera the other week: Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W300. 13M+ decent-quality pixels in a compact...
I *thought* your latest photos were looking good!
It's not my main setup, but I still have a Nikon D100 (which your D40 will handily outperform, BTW) which I use from time to time. I am considering the purchase of a D700, but I should probably wait until all the new models are announced at...
At least two people at my office were hoping to get an iPhone yesterday, but the nearby ATT store sold out early.
Which slightly delays my own plans to buy one of their first-gen iPhones which I was hoping to use with my T-Mobile prepaid ($100/year)
Nice! It probably predates the IBM PC.
The silver paint used to get worn off where people's hands rubbed against it, but yours looks pretty much intact.
The very first part time job I ever had was at...Radio Shack! And the Model 1 and 3 are the first two PCs I ever used. Didn't have floppy...
What are you using as a turntable? I think it's great that Panasonic is still manufacturing the Technics SL-1200 series of turntables after what; 25 years? I'm not big into vinyl anymore, myself, because it's gotten expensive in my area (classical, opera and older pop is still fairly cheap, but...
My 2E used to overheat on hot summer nights, and when it did, it would behave very strangely. That's why clip-on cooling fans were a very popular accessory. And for years, someone (Jameco?) used to sell a replacement power supply with built-in cooling fan.
It's also possible that our good...
If it's an old computer module that you've got, maybe it just needs a recapping, same as an old Mac! All other parts needs can probably be accomodated with the aid of the JC Whitney catalog and Hemmings Motor News. Does it have the original vintage radio too?
Congratulations on many levels [:)] ]'>
You can use that joystick as a PC controller by adding a Microsoft's $20 USB receiver. I have the wired version, and it works perfectly with PC games like Bioshock. Wish I could say that PC gaming was working as well for me.
It arrived Friday morning!
Very stoutly made of good quality materials, but fit 'n finish are a "B" mostly due to small blemishes and a couple of screw heads which didn't lie quite flush. I did some minor detailing, and it looks fine now.
Unboxing...
I also didn't know they had computer controls back in '75! Think BMW, Audi etc were using a mechanical fuel injection system at the time, and it didn't have a great reputation for reliability.
Neat car though.
Just scored one of these on eBay, for about 1/2 of the price listed on the website:

I've wanted an itty bitty stereo tube amplifier for some time, and I can't homebrew a chassis as nice as this one. I may use it as the computer sound system, or even as basis...
Those available Zeiss lenses look interesting!
The 4/3rds system works pretty well for wildlife, where you want high magnifications. Problem is, Olympus wants really really serious money for some of their more exotic lenses, like over $5K.
