    Say Hello to my Lisas

Seeing as the twiggy drives sold for $32k, I can see the sellers (not me) mentality behind the asking price. At some point the market will self adjust and come back down to 'reasonable' figures.

Simasimac Not Going Away After ReCap on SE/30

Cleaned the ROM, and tried it with another known working chip. Also noticed there is a deep scratch near UK12/ADB. Do you have a repair service? I am a novice at this (and compact macs) and would totally pay to have it fixed by a pro :)

Simasimac Not Going Away After ReCap on SE/30

Got the board today and had a chance to take a closer look at the caps. Cap C9 doesn't look too healthy.  Also, will washing the board with distilled water remove the corrosion on the IC legs? Sorry for all the questions, I appreciate any help.

    Original iPhone for free

2G's will fully boot with no sim cards. If it the first time after a restore it will say "waiting for activation" at that point you can stick any ATT SIM card in and it will bypass it.

    Painted 512k Restoration

Ive used acetone before. I was using a 50/50 mix of isopropyl and acetone. The paint was refusing to coming off so I made it a 70/30 mix. This has left some white discoloration.

    Painted 512k Restoration

The faceplate is beyond saving. The paint wasn't coming off so I mixed some more acetone into the mixture and have discolored the face plate. Anyone have a replacement 128k, 512k, or Plus faceplate?

Simasimac Not Going Away After ReCap on SE/30

The ROM simm has cap C12 near it. The apple sound chip is near C7 right? I need to check the traces near there.

Simasimac Not Going Away After ReCap on SE/30

How would I know if it's missing a trace? Just use a multi meter to check the voltages on near by components? Where can I get the Apple Schematic? Ive heard the 3rd party ones are not correct.

Simasimac Not Going Away After ReCap on SE/30

I noticed that, hence the reason I mentioned cap C1. Is the board shot or is there hope of fixing it?

Looks to be fine, I have ordered replacement caps. Ill attempt to do it myself since they are a bit easier to solder.

Simasimac Not Going Away After ReCap on SE/30

Hi all, When went to purchase the SE/30 (2 months ago) it booted right up and showed the dead hard drive symptoms but had no hint of "simasimac". I put the machine in 72F climate controlled storage and just recently got around to replacing the hard drive and testing the machine when I noticed...
