No switch. Only sleep mode. I have a 4/600 as well. It is almost the same printer as the 320. It also has a sleep mode and use it often without any problems.
I picked up all four machines this morning. The two LCs and one of the 660s work. The other 660 seems to have no video. The two 660s have cracked cases as well as one of the LCs. I took the full 040 chip out of the dead 660 and put it in the best LC. It also got a 2gb hard drive out of my...
I picked up a fully functional Laserwriter 320 today with cables and a good toner cartridge for $10 from a local Craigslist post. Also included where a selection of CDs and manuals.
I was just contacted by the seller. They offered the two 660avs from a previous auction and another 475 (a total of four machines) for local pickup at $20. I decided to go for it. :)
Just won a LC 475 for $8 on ebay. Local pickup. It looks like a keyboard and mouse are included. The LC style case is a favorite of mine so I couldn't pass on it. It will add to my LC collection nicely. :)
I do too. I had one for quite a while. It was a workhorse and just kept running. I gave it away but now I miss it. :'( I'm also partial to the 605. I really like their small foot print.
My original plan was to bid on these as well as a IIgs that the same person had up for auction. I had hoped to get all three for $9. The IIgs was just bid on so it looks like I'll pass on all three. I wasn't going to consider them for more than the minimum bid. I'll still be on the lookout...
I'm thinking about bidding on these and picking them up locally. I've had a Quadra 610 before but never a 660av. I can also pickup IIgs from the same person for $3. They might be worth playing with...
A local city has a month long hard trash pickup so I decided to go cruising for computers. No Macs but I did pick up a Stylewriter 2500. It look to be in good shape but has no power supply. I also found a relatively new HP tower that I parted out. I kept the ram, 40 gb hard drive, DVD drive...
I bought my Wallstreet from an ebay auction back in March for $81 shipped. It is much better than I expected. It has more ram and a larger hard drive than advertised as well as a battery that lasts well over two hours. I guess I was lucky. BTW - It is nice to be back at 68k. :)
