They both can take PC100. One is a Sawtooth and the other is a 450DP.

I have a pair of 256mb sticks that seem to work only in a BW G3. I tried them in two G4s and an iMac DVD and they will not work in those machines. They work fine in the BW. The sticks are both marked with a label that says G3. Anyone have any ideas on why this is? Thanks.

Nice. I run 7.1 on my 145b. I also found a 4mb ram up grade for it so it has a full 8mb. That seemed to help it a bit.

Too bad. I recently picked up a DP 450 from a Freecycle post. The processor and heat sink are noticeably larger in size than the standard single. As soon as I opened up the machine I knew something was weird about how the cpu looked. I then looked on the tag on the back to discover it was DP.

They are some of the best Macs around. ;)

Just picked up a Geforce2 MX AGP card for my G4 to try. 32mb. It does not have a heat sink on it. Should one be put on? It works fine in the machine but will it get too hot?

The other BW G3 and my original BW G3 are now gone. The G4 450 Dual and G3 450 work great. It feels good to give back to Freecycle. I showed the person who picked up one of them today how easy it was to open the case and replace the pram battery. They were quite impressed. Maybe they will...
