I think a UD-608 is older, Wacom still has OS 9 drivers on their site but they're listed as being for Intuos/Intuos2. Not sure if they'll work for a UD-608 or if you'll need to dig up something older. http://cdn.wacom.com/U/drivers/mac/478/macclassic_pro/Mac_478_2_EN.hqx
pre-USB Mac drawing tablets used ADB, not serial. There was an old artPad2 that sold on Goodwill the other day: https://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=39483179
Wacom also made newer ADB Intuos tablets and there's a few on eBay, search for model # GD-0608-A. There were other sizes made...
DiskTracker has recent versions going back to 68k, and the latest version runs on Intel OS X. Every MacAddict disc included a DiskTracker file that had every disc cataloged.
I had totally forgotten about the Mac SoundBlaster Live! Turns out some PC versions will work after editing the driver files: https://www.thinkclassic.org/viewtopic.php?id=297
Not enough slack on a cable coming from the display through the hinge? That's the only thing I can think of if there's no obvious mechanical obstruction. Also I assume the displays are interchangeable but don't know it for a fact.
My (socketed) SE/30 LB has a green wire on it that looks pretty similar (including the glue dabs at corners). It's just one wire though and not as long--this is a heck of a rework to have to do to every board!
My Color Classic's CRT is also not straight, not as bad as yours but the picture is pinched in the middle. I have adjustment tools but haven't tried them, I suspect the analog board needs new caps (so many big electrolytics)
Yeah that cable was for the dual USB white iBook, I still have one (bought it back in the day to watch Apple keynotes on the TV :) . It's actually not compatible with the iPod video, that uses a different pin out (was quite annoying when I had one)
The Garden has original restore discs and an OS 9 disc that was extracted from it, worth a shot.

I've used my SE/30 and a IIci (both with Asante cards) with a cheap Asus RT-N10P router running TomatoUSB as a wireless client. The IIci wouldn't correctly autodetect to 10 Mbps, but I was able to use a command-line tool on the router (robocfg) to force it to 10/full-duplex.
If you buy a...
It's a long shot, but does your board have a socketed CPU? If so, might be worth a try to reseat the CPU. My recapped SE/30 would reset regularly until I reseated the CPU.
Also note that the 2-slot coolers (like on the Quadro or a flashed 7800GTX) should be quieter than the single-slot 7800GT--much bigger fan/heatsink. And you're still left with 2 slots.
I have a 2.0 DC G5 and got a good deal on an OEM Quadro from eBay.
Yes, both should be compatible. The LC II has an auto-inject floppy though, and the Q605 is manual-inject. Should be fine, it'll just look different because there's no little black door in front of the drive.
3400c, 5300cs, 400 MHz Pismo all in original boxes. All in working condition too, although 5300cs has wrecked hinges. Also got a bunch of software (some in boxes), this came from a former mid-90s Apple employee so there's also some interesting marketing material (Apple Demo Days binder...
Picked up a TiBook battery charger from Goodwill online, even came with a yo-yo power adapter in good shape and a TiBook battery with some capacity! Should be helpful for keeping my handful of TiBook batteries charged up.
I had a MiniScribe in my SE/30 (it also had an 800K floppy...must have been cobbled together). I was able to spin up the drive and boot from it after rotating the whole drive around the platter axis, until I could hear the platter spinning inside the drive just from the momentum.
Oh yeah, this is PowerBook Password Security. I also ran into it on a 2400c and made a walk through on how to bypass it using Norton Disk Editor: http://bslabs.net/2016/01/30/disabling-powerbook-password-security/
You'll need to be able to boot from another disk though: either use a CF card in...
This guy is also selling Farallon Comm Slot cards and seems to have a lot. (don't be shy to make an offer, I offered $12 and was accepted)

Mouse Systems did make an optical mouse for the Apple IIc, and it's compatible with the pre-ADB Macs as well. I got one with a 512k Mac I bought, unfortunately it didn't come with the metal gridded mouse pad it needs. I picked up a pad at the TRW swap meet but still need to test if it's the...
