Hey there, I just found the CL 40-40 Booster that goes in the Color Classic II. It is possible to plug this into the Bolle riser card in an SE30? Or will that cause damage to the SE30 PDS system?
Do you think it's possible to plug in the CL 40-40 into Bolle's adapter? Or will that cause major problems? It would be awesome if you could use this with an SE/30 to speed it up!!
I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if this ROM tweak might help an Interware Booster CV40-40 work in an SE30? I recently found one, and it's for the Color Classic II, but with a PDS tweak, it could be plugged in to Bolle's riser or a TwinSpark.
Curious to hear your thoughts..
Hey everybody, my friend Keith and I just started a YouTube channel called Computer Compulsive. We imported an SE/30 from buyer.jp and here's our first video together:
Hey there! I just found one of these in a Color Classic 2 I got from Japan. I noticed you have the 1.1.2 chip there. Mine has the 1.1.1. Is there a way to make a duplicate of that socketed ROM possibly? And also wondering if the Color Classic version might work with an SE/30?
This is a super cool thread. I have several SE/30 with multiple cards, Mac/Con, Pivot IIsi, Micron XCeed, as well as Bolle Ethernet Riser. On one machine it can drive three displays (two external and one internal) but there are artifacts on the internal display. I’m guessing it’s because of...
Super cool!! A few years back I found a huge load of machines that were being thrown out, including a 8100/110 with a G3 card as well!! A friend of mine just got it up and running, so I'm super excited about it! The front bezel says 8100/100, but the logic board is 110 and says Flagship on...
Really well done!! I LOVE these 500 series, and I have three working 540c, and several parts machines. I bought a machine from a gentleman about four years back, and it had a screen problem. But, it also had three things in it: 1. 32 Mb Ram card. 2. APS 800Mb hard drive 3. NewerTech 603e...
Just an interesting point: when I run Marathon on my color Classic Mystic, it skips when booting to 8.1, but runs smoothly when booting to 7.5. Also have Spicy o clock up to 49 Mhz and 60ns VRAM.
Hey, just resurrecting this conversation. I purchased a IIsi system a few years back, and it had one of these cards in it. It did not come with the monitor however. I found a gentleman who created an adapter that provides 1024X768 on a separate display. The IIsi also came with a riser card...
