Did this project ever get anywhere? I've been hunting for one of these. Really wish I could take advantage of the full 68040 I put in my Centris 610 instead of being stuck at 20MHz.
I've been wondering this same thing and not wanting to mount one internally because of it. So far I've just been making sure to use an external power source plugged into the USB to keep the pi running. But I really want to add one to a powerbook for some coffeeshop computing fun.
That's...
Flashing an Sil3112 based SATA card is also an option if you want to go the add on card route. There are a few threads talking about it on here. They've recently made it a lot simpler process from what I've been reading.
Looks like yours is hooked up for the 15 pin header. Mine unfortunately used the 9 pin header. But the picture in this thread might be able to help you: https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/vidcard-rosetta-stones-da-15-de-9-hd-15translations.5741/post-66736
I've been thinking about doing this but actually driving the actuator arm of a Miniscribe (or similar) for the sound. I thought it would be cool to put in a MacEffects case and leave the top off the drive to watch it move. 😁
Ah! I think I found the magic settings. Hopefully...

Oh what size SD card are you using? There might be an issue with smaller SD cards on ZuluSCSI. Smaller than 8GB can be hit or miss.
Edit: nevermind I just looked for that info in your log.
Try the download #8 MacPack_Silverlining image and see if it work for you. The plus is a little picky when it comes to the various SCSI emulators. People have found it to work best with the Silverlining 5.3.1 driver. That's the image I'm using on my PiSCSI. I remember there were some...
J1 looks like the standard 2.5" ide drive interface. If it is, then the M/S/CS jumper settings will be over on the 4 pins next to where it is labeled AB.
Here's a picture:
Edit: Just looked at that link you posted. Yep that's definitely the standard 2.5" ide connector.
The sort answer is yes but...
The way you worded that sounds like you might be more familiar with the SCSI2SD. The BlueSCSI and ZuluSCSI work a little different. Those use a normal fat formatted SD and you put image files on them which makes them a bit more convenient to use with BasiliskII.
If it is just distorted in one corner you will have to adjust the little magnets on the yoke of the CRT. I'm searching for a link now.
edit: found one

In the simplest terms - the original BlueSCSI didn't implement termination properly. They couldn't be used in a chain with other devices and they can burn out. Aa far as I know they aren't a danger to anything but themselves. There have been improvements in the design recently and the newer...
External 250MB SCSI Zip drive exist but they are hard to find and usually pretty expensive.
I use my 250MB USB Zip drive with an Intel based Mac. I use MacFUSE (or something... I honestly can't remember how I set it up as it was years ago) to be able to read and write to the HFS formatted Zip...
You just need the dock connector on the PowerBook you want to use as an external drive.
Note: I'm not sure what happens when you have multiple SCSI ID's set up on the internal SCSI bus on such a machine. The PowerBook only presents itself as a single SCSI ID when in dock mode. This is...
