Also I forgot to mention it: When I use my AV card the system freezes when It starts to load the crescendo extension, but It works when I turn extensions of on start up.
I thought these two cards could be used together?
It is just for kicks ;) I hope too be able to use classila on it one day. Not for now though I only have 40 MB of ram. My 8200/120 (it's a 7200 in a quadra 800 case) feels much quicker running system 7 then the 6100 with G3 running 8,6
I'll try , I'm not really a big photography maker/fan but I just love the form factor of the Quicktake 150, so I can't guarantee I'll make a succesfull picture!
Anyways today we went to bruges and I took my quicktake with me, I made some pictures on the lowest quality setting:
This one I like...
I got this almost mint in the box at the Amiga club meeting for free. What a prize. I Already got it over a month ago but I couldn't find any batteries for it so I bought some today. ere are some of the raw photos I took with it today:
I believe those speakers only work on G4 powermacs so don't toss them yet. Wait until you have been able to test them with the cube or another powermac g4
Hi guys,
I quick update to this thread!
The hd keeps getting it's head stuck when I'm not using this unit for a while, So it is kinda annoying have to open up your computer and hard driver every time you want to use it :o) . I have lubricated the drive head twice but that doesn't seem to...
Nice project, not a fan of the CD drive hole, whose still uses disks anyways :o) .
Love that monitor! Do you know if it can handle RGB? I would love to have it just for all my retro systems so much easier then keeping all those crts around.
Jup it is that waht I need. The metal part is still there but the plastic is gone. I was hoping to only find the latch. But maybe if the price is alright for the entire unit I might take it.
Huzzah, I got the hard drive working by opening the case up and the manually moving the the read head as explained by mactjaap here on the forum that post should be stickied!
the system was apparently last used on 21/03/2000 that is pretty recent! It apparently also has a built in modem. Are...
Got a PSU in today. It works. HD is dead though. It has four mega bytes of ram, could have been worse could have been two :) . Sometimes the screen seems inverted (especially before it goes tot he finder what is up with that? Going try to get the HD working again. If that fails I don't think I...
Battery was removed when I first got it :) . It seems strange, when the system is warm it seems to boot. When it is cold you get the chequered screen.
TheIanman85 -> All my phones seems to work straight out of the box (or dump ;) . I have a internet connection through the television...
Finally played a bit with this classic. The original HD has died :( The only spare working HD I got was another 80mb proLS :( . I also the Classic 2 has the dreaded chequered screen :( . It sometimes boots but often doesn't. Guess it is time for capacitor replacement !
I had a Classic as a kid now I have two SE. I prefer the SE because I have an ethernet adaptor for it. I would love to add a second floppy drive and a HD. But now I only have one HD because I have a high profile HD in there that originally came in my Quadra 700. I chose this HD because it is the...
I also saw a classic in the salvation army and it was severely yellowed. It wasn't priced but I know the lady at the counter always asks way to much. And i already have a Classic II so I rather keep my money and space for a plus
Thanks, what is the minimum ampere that it needs? Are you sure that it is 3 A ? Because the manual says max 17 watt and 7.5 V x 3 A is = 22,5 Watt? Isn't the maximum then 2,267 Ampere?
I find it amazing how hard it is to find this information online.
Does the P145 require the battery to be...
