Just scale the bugger down a little so it's 80 pixels high and however wide. No biggie :)
Besides, take a look at every other forum ever to see the effects of large avatars :p
Eef, if there was a hole blown in the lobo, sounds like the poor little thing has been put out to pasture. I'd nose around for another lobo for it to see if you can breathe some life back into it.
Welcome to the 68k Macintosh Liberation Army! (here's hoping you've had all your shots before...
I just scored myself an early-90s HP UNIX box! There's this hallway in the basement of one of the engineering buildings on campus where a few of the oddball engineering labs that only a few people use are stuck, and at the end of it, waaaaaay in the back of the building, there's a large pile of...
One other thing that I've noticed that occurs here but didn't on the old layout is that links now open in the same window/tab as the forums. Any ideas on how to fix this? I loved that they opened in a new window.
Just an FYI Bunsen, that was sometime in 2007 :p
For the record, here's the new layout in MSIE 5 under OS 9.1, and iCab 3 under the same. In short, iCab 3 works okay, and MSIE 5 fails epically
Woah, this is new. I suppose this'll take a little getting used to, but yay for upgrades! Maybe some kind-hearted soul will finally re-make a Paltinum theme for the forums now that we've finally upgraded :p But cheers to the admins for a seemingly flawless update, lookin' good fellas!
I do...
Personally, if you're looking for a notebook that'll be useful and compatible with the modern world, I'd go for a PowerBook G3 or later. These machines can be had for under $200 nowadays, you can punt them across football fields with no major damage, and they can still run modern OSs and...
Sweet, I love the little AlBook. Good luck getting it back together! They're a little byatch to get apart and back together. If you can get the top case off (the real way ;) ), try just hammering it flat again.
If it's always on "I'm charging!" amber, then it sounds like something might be really wonky with the PMU. Do you have another TiBook that you can try the battery and/or power cord out with, just to make sure it's not either of those?
Well, it seems to have decided to fix itself after I made an appointment at the Genius Bar; funny how these machines fix themselves when you call Apple :)
My little 12" AlBook seems to be having some issues with its superdrive. Any disk that I insert is sucked in, pondered for a few seconds, then immediately spat back out. Blank CDs and DVDs, Music and data CDs, Movie DVDs, everything is just rejected. Any ideas why it's doing this? It worked...
Sweet :D
The later G4 'Books are really getting cheap these days, now that people are being affected by the whole 'SWEET JEEBUS this thing won't run *all* the latest stuff' syndrome with the Intel switch. Because everybody knows that a computer becomes obsolete and useless the moment an app...
