Ok so i got the plug you reccomened and it works! Unfortunately the screen is just white and it wont boot. The ram modules are different and that may be the reason but i dont really know. Would fixing the ram fix the machine?

Sometimes in the middle of the night i hear clicking noises and i dont know were its coming from. Its probably all in your head. Seriously though see if its the speaker or the motherboard

Well i tried that putting my performas 7.5.5 hd in the iisi and it turned on but the hard drive just hangs. Its been recapped but theres no sound so theres no way to know whats going on. 

I was getting the over range on the monitor. So this monitor is multisync? So it supports sync on green? 

Thanks for that info! I just ordered the 15 pin dip switch and the other sync switch you suggested. If that dont work then its the monitor. That monitor really can support alot!

I dont think the monitor has anything to do with ot because some guy on youtube used a lcd with a iisi and its the same specs as my lcd monitor . 

Well i have a planar pe 150M monitor it recognozes my performa and other macs but not the iisi. I dont know if ots multisync or not. Will a lcd screen thats multisync fix the problem? I really don't understand this

I cant get the mac iisi to show a image. I have a lcd and a 8 pin pnp adapter to vga that wont work on any setting. Do i need a different dip switch? Thanks

Did you swap both the logic board and daughter board? If u did then the gray cable that connect the screen and board together is probably bad. The board were the speaker is located is bad then

The thing is i could get my powerbook 170 hard drive working its the same drive just smaller.

I got a new LC and it has the old old black 40mb conner drive. Of course it wouldn't work so i tried the trick putting tape over the black rubber bumbers. Now it spins at the beginning and hangs. Its not recognized on the performa 6116cd . Is there a better fix? Thanks 

Sometimes I think thats true esp with old computers lol. I didnt put alot of pressure at all. It was a smaller vice and the thing wasnt budging at all. All of a suden its got some brown juice oozing out 

I tried that using 2 screwdrivers and a clamp and it didnt do anything except squeeze the capacitors juice out im afraid of the capacitors exploding and a fire hazard . I guess i should keep trying though

I still think you should replace the whole logic board. Mabie something shorted a chip out. These 100 series powerbooks have the weirdest problems. Im done buying those. I did that with my 170 and it fixed everything.
