Timbuktu works on El Capitan, can't remember what version but i can connect to Timbuktu 3.something in ssw 7.5.3 running on BasiliskII on the rpi3. Could connect to my Duo 270c too. Timbuktu 5 ( i think... ) running on 10.4 or 10.5 can connect to Timbuktu 1 running on my Classic.

Finally a 3400c/ 240 !! it came with a broken screen : But the seller agreed to refund part of the money. And with a replacement screen it's just fine. Plus it has a 128mb Ram card... 

Yes Apple garamond Light, opened the pdf in Illustrator and it cried I didn't had it. But it's easy to find.

Yep very cool :) I used fast hardening epoxy glue, just a very small drop in that rectangle . Did that on two 40 mb conners, one started on first boot, the other seems really dead. But will try again.

Ah yes, thanks ! though choosing "system for powerbook duo" would have put the enabler in there automatically, but indeed it's not there. Will try with one from your links this evening.

I'm trying to boot a Duo 270c on syst 7.1.1, but each time it fails and say it needs a newer system . I 've checked "system for powerbook duo" during install though... And everywhere I read Duo 270cs can boot on 7.1.1 . Or does it need a special version ?

Yeah it's neat :) Don't even know where it's made, no markings on it. Problem is , try to drink coffee in a angled sides mug… sure to spill coffee on your keyboard :D So I use it to hold pens an such
