I've always wanted one of the crazy 80's japanese pc's. Either a MSX2 or a X68000. Prices are sky high though. But often you got the best sounding/best graphical versions of the original games like castlevania for example.

I got it working by lugging my '30 down next to the router, so its in the TV room now. It'll be a good conversation piece :p

Well it ""works"" but I cant close the settings window because its too big for the se/30's display. Ehhhh, now I'll need to write applescript to convert from a pict to a jpg :-/

TTL min vcc is around 4.75 v, so with a 4v line and a 11v, you're probably causing a few logic circuits to not get enough voltage to operate correctly. I'm not good at analog board debugging, but most of the time it's old capacitors and cracked resistors.

@unity Well if the problem stopped when you unplugged the floppy it's most likely the floppy drive then, maybe a loading issue or a mismatch in impedance, its hard to tell from a brief look at the schematics. I'll see this weekend if I can get an oscilloscope and probe the AC,5v,12v line to see...
