People seem to care when some person crawls out of the woodwork annoying people, denies it, makes our IRC channel, and members pissy. So if it's no major inconvenience to you (and even if it is) just leave. And people, stop posting on these topics, it just adds fuel to the fire.

IRC issues really have nothing to do with the forums, as they are not linked, besides the java IRC thing to make it easier for people to get into it, and without "craziness" IRC wouldn't be fun(ny)

My districts does basically the same thing, but what makes it worse is that I know there is a barn full of Apple //e's and various service parts that will either be recycled in the next few years or tossed in the dumpster (Which at that point I can take them) or kept sitting in the barn. I see...

Don't think of Bondi as Blue, it was greenish blue, closer to green then blue, basically Teal. Apple never made Bondi 266mhz.

afaik Compressed air is bad to use on LCDs because of all the chemicals used to propel the air.

That was to use PC floppies on early macs, like the Plus. Worth a chunk of change iirc....

My old school used to have //e's and I got a bunch of Apple stickers one day as I was flipping through a disk holder full of CD's. They had just thrown out a bunch of // software though :'(

Buying (or getting) old ribbons is risky. The ink tends to stay ok, but the foam rollers that move the ribbon along tend to break down, making the ribbon useless :/

Classics are awesome floppy making machines :p

My OfficeMax has them, if you want to be sure that they are new and good. I'd bet yours has them too.

Just a guess, but try a bootable floppy in there, cause it *might* be finding a corrupt system folder, which it *might* try to boot, possibly stopping booting, and just hanging there.
