No, I mean remove the USB ports from the USB hub and replace the ports on the iMac with the ports from the hub. Or even just one USB port on the iMac and use an additional hub.

Why couldn't you? De-solder the current USB ports, get some new ones from online and solder them on.

Did you try turning the LC 475 on, then quickly switching it off and back on?

Turn the machine on, wait for the bong, then quickly turn it off and on once. That should leave enough juice in the system to get the video working, infact, it almost always does.

Thats a long time, but the 1xxs were kinda hard to work in. Easy to get apart, but everything os connected strangely. Changing the KB in a G3 iBook/PB could take about 3 minutes...

Disk Copy 4.2? Is that what people normally use for that type? iirc all you do is put the disk in, open Disk Copy and make an image... Maybe someone else agrees/has a better idea?

Huxley, if you ever have time, would it be possible for you to image and upload those disks for the Centris? I know I for one would find them quite useful.

A lot of software can install on Windows and Macintosh from the same CD.
