    Torbar's Conquests

Been a dry couple of months.  A couple of days ago I ordered a BMOW Floppy Emu which will make getting data to/from my 800k machines easier. Also I ordered a box of tractor-feed paper from a local seller on ebay that I'll be picking up at some point this week probably, so I can use print-shop...

    6100 Sonnet sticker location.

Not really related to the current topic, but I finally bit the bullet and ordered a FloppyEmu yesterday.  Figure I mess around with floppy-only Macs and Apple II's enough to justify the cost

    A Bit Of A Rarity

Awesome find!  Glad it made its way to a collector rather than a landfill. The book "Revolution In The Valley" is all about the making of the original Macintosh, written by much of the team,  most of which has been posted to folklore.org,  so here's a relevent story about them switching from...

    IIGS Setups

I have a GS I got...at some point that I don't remember?(In a lot of Macs or something I think), but haven't done much with it besides remove the battery.  It does have a SCSI interface card in it, so I should pull it out and start playing with it

3D Printed Floppy Gears from Shapeways

I installed one in my SE/30's floppy drive last week, and the quality seems pretty good,  alot cheaper than  that other ebay seller too

SE/30 - Hard drive activity light - Original color?

    Macintosh SE/30 Schematics (modernization effort)

Those look fantastic!  I've been needing to pull out my SE/30 to diagnose an issue with the floppy controller, and this is going to help a ton vs the old schematics.

    Macintosh SE/30 Schematics (modernization effort)

The folder says to request access, not sure if you intended it that way or if you meant to make it publicly viewable

The Main Setup Hacks in progress thread.

This is my current "homelab" setup I've got going on, while in the process of trying to get my network at home semi organized.  blue HP is acting as a router running OpenWRT, Unifi 8 port switch, Unifi controller,  the Mac Mini is running Plex, the Raspberry Pi 4 runs octoprint and controls my...

Files off an old SCSI Mac

You might be able to use a SCSI PCI card, make an image of the drive, and boot that off of an emulator, (sheepshaver or something?), and get the files off using that. But I agree with what LaPorta said, finding a member here willing to do it may be the cheapest/easiest way

Major Score! 8600 with Sonnet CPU, 3DFX card, Etc

I think eraser started the whole new ribon thing, and then maceffects took over(but I don't think he's doing that anymore as he has his hands full with the cases) The ebay link says it has 1 year warranty and the dude has really good feedback, so could be worth buying it from him

    A Perfect Condition SE/30

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVNHC4td7MQ I've never done retrobriting myself yet, but I'm planning on trying the method that he trys about 10 minutes in since I don't really have a good spot to do it outside.  He seems to do a pretty good job.  8bitguy has done a similar method to a...

    Torbar's Conquests

I was surprised you didn't grab them before me! Good luck with the Classic, looks to be in decent shape from the pictures

    Torbar's Conquests

Figure doing a conquest topic seems to be a trend, so I figure I'll do one too rather than individual topics for each find. A buddy of mine was looking for a compact Mac to hook up to his Emulator II synth since the software for it was only written for classic Mac OS, so in keeping an eye out I...
