Has it been recapped?
Old media? Even the newest of the "goodish" lot towards the end of the bell-curve of production is close to 20 years old.
Copy II Mac has a disk sector reader. Comparing it to a known sector readout can probably tell you if the heads aren't aligned properly. If the heads...
Neat. I'd love to see the updated version. :-)
FWIW, I installed Netatalk 4.0.4 (can't remember if I did 4.0.5 or not...it's been a few months) without ninja. It worked fine. -shrugs-
What does it look like?
If it looks like that, then just replace the resistor marked, to 220K or something around there ohms. 270K could probably work too.
I think it looks really good. Having one stop-shop for getting it going is probably the way to go for sure.
The layout is nice too. The only thing I'd suggest is increasing the font side of the code text, so it's easier to read. People with high PPI displays on small laptops will probably not...
If you check with Glenn Anderson on Tinker Different, he's done reverse engineering of the Asante cards, and could probably tell you what to do about your LC card. He's the guy who figured out that you can change R28 on a MC3NB from 36K ohms to 220K-ish ohms to delay the link detection circuit.

Of those, Oxyd is pretty good. Playing with anything other than a mouse is not going to work out...
In the past, I've used some D-Link router, a Linksys WRT54g (extremely popular 10-15 years ago), and am currently using some cheapo ZyXel DSL modem/router. Never had an issue with a number of different NICs. Only the Asante MC3NB, but that's an easy fix where you swap out a resistor.
I think...
Macintosh Garden suggests there could be some issues with multiplayer connection. That might be where the problem lies. Bolo will work with just about anything.
I'm pretty sure they do make right angle headers. Problem is that the Molex plug design was designed for low cost, and so low cost it became, and this has lead to a fire hazard in more modern PCs. If I'm not seriously mistaken, it was, or still is a concern with certain Molex to SATA adapters...
Oh it's just a Server G3 MT that is about ready to keel over:
* Capacitors in the PSU are dying
* All the HDDs were dead when I got it
* The RAM failed one by one
* The CD-ROM drive was unplugged on arrival
* Battery bomb damage
It did its job though, but also made me earn it. Heard the power...
Turns out I can actually get one more use out of this thing. You know that principle where the thing you like the least is the thing that lasts the longest?
Not really satisfied with the ASP report, I checked with TattleTech. Also tried checking with Rhapsody 5.6, but that doesn't have an...
Here are the settings I've used to dial in what I would consider "Acceptable" output for one of these to capture with OBS or something. Since it's an upscaler, it'll take in the 640x480 4:3, and stretch it up to 1920x1080p 16:9 out of the box, which is undesirable for retaining aspect ratio. The...
Great post.
I had two Duos for sure, 230, 2300c and maybe another one. All of them had really bad keyboards. It's probably the worst keyboard I've ever experienced.
I have an UltraDock 16sce lying around, the Duos having all left a long time ago.
I've read a number of reports from people who used the BlueSCSI WiFi and were dissatisfied with it. For the record it was in experimental stage for a long time.
A wired interface is probably the best way to go. You will likely want one anyways for fallback purposes.
That's neat. I'll mention it in CMN 4.0. Problem is, aren't those rare? And who could even afford 128kbps ISDN? Not many people that's for sure, you needed 2 lines too.
