@LaPorta unfortunately the 14500 (AA size) cells are a hair thicker than the stock battery. 14mm vs 13.6mm. They will still fit in the slot, as the slot is about 15mm tall.
@croissantking LiFePO4 cells! 2S6P x 3.2V 600mAH which should get me 6.4v 3600mAH.
The stock charging circuitry should charge them without issue... Dare I test it?
