What is a DIN-8 PDS card in SE-30?

Funny, I kept thinking as I read this thread I've seen one of these before.... and it was my thread from 2007 that came up in your google search.

    Another PINA book

The floppy is test pattern generator software according to the cover. I am not sure if it's allowable under the forum rules to create and post a copy.

    Another PINA book

Today I got a copy of "Macintosh II Repair and Upgrade Secrets" by Larry Pina. It has the floppy disc with it too.

    Compact Flyback Transformer: 157-6139?

I miss Radio Shack - here in Canada they are now called The Source, but they are just like any other electronics retailer now; mostly consumer stuff and very few parts and other supplies like they used to have.

    Compact Flyback Transformer: 157-6139?

WooHoo.... Just powered up my repaired board and it works :) I am amazed to be quite honest. A few adjustments to be made to centre the picture etc and glue the white backer card in place and it's done. Happy New Year!

    WGS 9150

The bus avatar is actually my own bus :) That is my other hobby.... maybe I should post a YouTube video of it in action! I will have to contact the guy I got the WGS from and see if he has any other part for that ECI as Dennis suggested.

    WGS 9150

I pulled the mystery card to see what it is. It's a ECI card (expansion chassis interface) - something to do with Pro-Tools which is studio (audio) related. Makes sense as the guy I got it from used it for this type of work.

    WGS 9150

One is a video card, and the other one I am not sure. It has some kind of connector that is accessed through the rear of the computer but I have no idea what connects to it.

    WGS 9150

I think it has the 5 drive tray; at least the part holding the one drive has labels A - E. Here's a close up picture of this: A couple more pictures are here showing the inside and front panel, before someone says "pictures or it didn't happen"!!

    WGS 9150

I acquired a Workgroup Server 9150 today :) An ad on Kijiji offered one for sale, so a 4 hour round trip, a slightly lighter wallet and it's home now. I believe its the 80 MHz version.

    Compact Flyback Transformer: 157-6139?

Thanks guys for the info! My flybacks arrived today, so out comes the soldering iron :)

    Compact Flyback Transformer: 157-6139?

Thanks Wally! Would you have the part numbers or board locations of these diodes and the transistor? The board I'm looking at is dated 1983 (820-0082B on the trace side, 630-0102 component side), and I think the transistor must be Q3 but I see 4 diodes that look to be directly connected to the...

    Mac LC III 16mhz?

I acquired a second LC III yesterday, and ran across this thread. I took my earlier example out and it has the 16 MHz chip too. The one I got yesterday has the 25 MHz. The one with the 16 indicates it was assembled in Malaysia and the 25 assembled in USA. Both boards marked as "Singapore Rev"...

    Rise of the Fallen Soldier...

Does anyone know the part number of this ROM SIMM? I parted out a 6100 a while ago and likely have one available.
