    Connect internal scsi drives externally?

I assume you mean the external SCSI connector of you Plus? It might work, you might need to check that the drive is terminated properly, either jumpers or resistor packs

Win95 on LC630 DOS connecting to GlobalTalk?

This may be possible, see the mention of using the appletalk protocol on page 65 for windows for workgroups: https://archive.org/details/apple-dos-compatibility-software-update-user-manual/page/64/mode/1up?q=Appletalk And https://savagetaylor.com/TIL/TIL18748.pdf

    Performa 630 CD-disk drive died ?

I could only get my 630 to work with industrial CF cards. https://www.savagetaylor.com/2023/12/17/ide-replacing-your-old-ide-drive/ That initially worked, currently my 630 is having issues but i think it needs a recap. If your 630 has not been recapped that may be the root cause for you too.

Minimum Mac OS Version For Reading A DVD Properly?

Did a quick search. Mac OS 8.1 was the first system to have official UDF support. So perhaps 68k systems capable of running 8.1 can access DVDs

Minimum Mac OS Version For Reading A DVD Properly?

7.5.2 for PowerPC 2TB support. AND any system released with 7.5.2, not sure if there are any 68k systems released with that version. https://www.savagetaylor.com/2018/01/01/mac-os-standard-format-specifications-apple-kb-article-8647/

New User Struggling with ZuluSCSI Mini RP2040

I assumed that was the case, but I wasn't sure if the issue with the Plus lacking terminator power was no power or not enough power, so I suggested the USB connection to be sure.

New User Struggling with ZuluSCSI Mini RP2040

A Macintosh plus does not provide terminator power. Are you providing power via the USB port on the ZuluSCSI mini? You could also try one of my image files https://www.savagetaylor.com/downloads/downloads-macintosh/

What to buy LC475 or Performa 630

You can use industrial CF cards to get back the correct IDE support, or use ZuluIDE.

    PicoIDE in a Mac?

The front comes on and off fairly easily, and I doubt i would be changing the contents of the SD card often, I would more likely want to backup the .hda file before making major changes

    PicoIDE in a Mac?

Anyone else thinking of trying one of these in a Mac that supports IDE? https://picoide.com/, https://www.crowdsupply.com/polpotronics/picoide I was thinking of getting one to try in my 630 DOS system to see how it compares to my existing CF2IDE adapter. For the 630 I assume only one .hda image...

PowerBook 150 installer woes with CF-to-IDE adapter

For both the PB150 and LC630 there is an enabler that is required when you want to use the internal IDE drive after booting from a different device, e.g. CD ROM or external SCSI. https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/select-cpu-enhancements I am not sure if the are needed for 7.5.3 or not, but you...

PowerBook 150 installer woes with CF-to-IDE adapter

Sigh, tried to use my LC 630 today, I think it needs a recap. It will boot from the CD ROM but will not boot from the external SCSI or recognize the internal IDE.

PowerBook 150 installer woes with CF-to-IDE adapter

Did not have a chance last night, will do a "for all systems" install so the right enabler should be there.
