i wish i had held onto my 5260's motherboard. that had 32MB of RAM and a LAN card on it...

sweet!! do keep in mind you might need to install a 3.3V regulator to use these 6360/6400/5400 boards in a stock 6200/5200.

its having issues... oh well

i'm gonna see if i can live with this thing for a week... lmao. running 10.6.8 on a late 2006 macbook with a spinning hard drive :p

sure enough.... i still have one that works, maxed out at 3GB of RAM (this is the 2006 C2D model)

i have a few of these plastic macbooks under my bed somewhere, maybe one or two i have that still work... gonna put 10.6.8 on it and see what i can do with it

just got a very cheap 5300 board on ebay in case i couldn't get the 6360 one working (i know it needs a 3.3V relay of some sort)... just need to solder on a new CPU because the one on the board was damaged. luckily i have a spare CPU from a dead powerbook 5300c.

hmmm that would be interesting... a 7447B (which is what i've got) ibook clamshell... lol the hardest part i think is getting the firmware to work with it. that would already be one hell of a performance boost from the G3/400... also, how would i get my hands on one of the interposers?

what would be a good voltage for 600mhz? do i have to use a custom cooling solution?

@LightBulbFun would it be possible to put the 7400 into an iBook clamshell? or should i go for the 7410

if thats the case, i'm lucky i have a few 7400s i can try reballing and then throwing on there lol

yeah i'm really considering doing this because i need to put my 6360 board to good use, also i don't see myself getting a more proper board upgrade anyway seeing as how expensive and rare they are now
