Okay, I got the free 7300 two years ago, and on Friday I picked up a free 9600/300 upgraded with a Sonnet G4 1Ghz processor, 1.2GB of RAM, a Sonnet USB/FW400 card, an ATI Radeon 9200LT video, two 32GB SCSI UHD drives, two SATA drives (on a Sonnet TSATA) each 1 GB. The Extended II keyboard was included, as well as an ADB extension cord. There is also a SCSI Zip 250 and a SCSI DVRW (HP model).
Added to the bundle, 56 CDs of software (all PPC), the original CD that came with the machine, plus OS9 CDs, OS X CDs/DVDs.
It is in near factory condition, all clean as a whistle and not a single mark or scratch. It even has a nice wood base that was cut to exactly the size of the 9600 case for it to sit on. It comes from a retired Apple employee.
9.2.2 is installed thanks to OS9 Helper, 10.4.11 will be done tomorrow on the other drive using XpostFacto. I have no idea what to do with drives 3 and 4 other than move music, movies, and television shows over to it. I am looking at the CDs over the next few days to determine what to install or not.
Talk about an abundance!
