Which iMac Component/s Needs Fixing Based on Symptoms

Hi. Which iMac component (or subcomponent like transistors, resistors, etc.) needs to be replaced or repaired with iMacs that have these symptoms (have tried all the basic repair methods: new battery, reset, pram rest, 24 hour-1 week wait, etc.):

iMac G3/350 (Summer 2000 - Indigo) Specs (M7667LL/A)

- it turns on with power button on the normal green light and stays on but there's no video

iMac G3/400 DV (Slot Loading - Fruit) Specs (M7493LL/A*)

- when turned on, it turns off

iMac G3/233 Original - Bondi (Rev. A & B) Specs (M6709LL/A*)

- when turned on, the power button blinks orange then turns off. There's no video as well

iMac G3/266 (Fruit Colors) Specs (M7345LL/A*)

iMac G3/333 (Fruit Colors) Specs (M7440LL/A*)

iMac G3/266 (Fruit Colors) Specs (M7345LL/A*)

- all three same symptom as with the Bondi

Could it be just the battery (will try that again)? Thanks in advance. Gbu.

Out of curiousity, have you tried connecting an external monitor to the iMacs and booting them?

I haven't tried an external monitor on the iMac DV 400 (these units are not in the same place btw). I have tried a homemade 20-pin to 15-pin VGA adapter for the iMac Indigo but nothing happened, I'm not sure if my homemade adapter works or not, though. Should the external monitor on the DV doesn't work, what could be the likely culprit?

(any ideas on the culprit for the other earlier iMacs?). Thanks in advance, again.

Diagnosing a problem by remote is hard, but the last five imacs of the six you mentioned behave in a manner consistent with a known, common imac failure mode: Shorted flyback. This does not necessarily mean that this is your problem, of course, but it is one that I've come across fairly often.
