You are definitely on a 'recap all the things' mission aren't you? Just make sure you don't get burnt out, not everything needs saving...

I tend to go through periods doing loads of recaps then stop for a while, then resume. It’s good to have a hobby, so long as it don’t overwhelm you and become a Burdon 😊

I feel this has been happening to me lately, it seems. I just don't have the energy to delve in right now.

The desire is still there, but the sheer bulk of my highly disorganized collection (it had been better, but I had to pack it up quickly, so not tons of thought went into making it tidy) has been very burdensome and discouraging lately, especially in my current, somewhat lethargic state.

I'll get to it, though. I just have to gather up the nerve to actually do the work to organize it, and then, once that's done, I can actually begin to enjoy it again.

Indeed, sometimes it can be a labour of love! I’ve had the same problem with my collection getting in the way stopping me from being able to make progress to clean them up - fortunately I’ve finally finished getting my loft sorted so I can store other stuff up there which means I’ll finally be able to get my collection into a somewhat more suitable state!

Hope you don't run into the same issues I had (lack of ventilation). It's still damp/super cold and a bit condensation-y in my loft so I'm not storing any computers up there anymore. I might just store some parts in a sealed box and leave it at that.

Primary I’m not storing computers up there, but fortunately because this is a fairly new build it’s designed with a loft area that’s well ventilated, so I don’t think it’ll be a problem for the ones I do have. I’ve mostly just put the stuff up there that was taking up space in the garage (internal to house and nice and warm and dry) so I can store more stuff in there, along with my work bench and server rack!

Did anything you store in the loft get ruined?
