What model of Personal LaserWriter did you get?

Nice pickup on the Quadra 950. Does it have a CD-ROM?

That's quite an impressive haul. You sure you got a place to hold all of them? Care to toss a few my way (with free shipping. I am broke :p )

The legends tell of a city of Platinum where Six-colored Apple Trees thrive and where Cowdogs roam free in mutual harmony with humans. They tell that there are enough of each mac ever made for those who find it...I long to find that city...

Luck you had! Awesome finds istar!

As though that weren't enough, when I went through one of the boxes, I found a Tangerine clamshell, a Q800, and some more software - original CDs of Mac OS X Server 1.0 and Rhapsody DR2 for PC... the latter two, I've put in my CD binder for safekeeping, as they didn't come with any original sleeves or docs.

...

Rhapsody DR2!!!

...

::) 8-o ::)

As you can see, the Macs have all fit into a closet pretty nicely for the time being. Thus, the Missus-to-be remains my Missus-to-be. The Q950 is already a fun project machine, and one of the 9600s has replaced my venerable 8500... couldn't help smiling when I pulled the logic board to get out my RAM, thinking that I would *never* have to do that again. Also nice is that the 9600 doesn't use those stupid PCI slot plastic clips, using the standard screws. She's pretty comfortable next to her sibling the B&W.

Lots of the PPCs have old versions of Photoshop and Illustrator installed, but not much RAM - 64 megs is the most I've seen. Kind of weird for a graphic design house.

The Personal LaserWriter is a model 300. Kind of a strange sucker... it doesn't have a standard AC plug, but rather an inverted one, such that it can plug in to a desktop power supply, a la old monitors used to. Interesting.

Hopefully this weekend I'll have some time to investigate them in more detail... and take some better pics.

They still have a bunch of CRTs they're looking to get rid of, but I doubt they'll find any takers - considering most would go straight to the recycler. I might go back to see if there's any useful software or cables... go figure, only one power cord with all these Macs.

This is an exceptionally good haul. I count 26 Macs! I believe them most I've gotten in one haul is 16.

Way to go man! You make us all want to find a jackpot like this of our own.

PM sent Franklinstein.

One last addendum, as I finished going through the last box.

- PB 5300ce with NIB AC adaptor

Whew!

Would a 5300 AC adapter work with a 3400c? Anybody?

If so, would you be willing to part with it istar?
