THINK C

Anybody have/know where I can find a copy of Symantec THINK C 5? Oddly enough I have THINK Pascal, which I pulled out of a garbage pile at school.

I'm surprised to find I have the three manuals from Think C 5.x. The floppies must be here somewhere. I'll dig for them if no one else offers.

I recently tried to install my copy of Think C 5.0 for a project. The disks went corrupt looooong ago. But I have a copy of the four disk images on a CD. Alas, whatever I do I cannot get them mounted. I tried to put the type/creator codes back, but to no result. They just don't mount.

Can anybody help me with restoring the disk images (or :D PN them :D )

Thank you,

Alex

Ealex79: Have you tried using ShrinkWrap to open the disk images?

If anyone is programming for System 5 and earlier, I have copies of Lightspeed C 2.x ;-)

Yes I did try that, it fails, I even tried to fiddle around with the resource fork. But I guess, the lost resources contained something that is just needed to mount the images.

It's a shame that I did put those images on a std ISO cd.

I think I'll have to live with MPW then. Also, I think MPW just stinks lol (I just hate it's interface).
