Oh yes, it is true! Have you ever played Super Mario Bros. on the NES? If so, then you're in for a treat, because now you can play it on your Apple IIgs as well.

It is a pretty good emulation of the NES game. Game physics and sound differ, and only the first few levels are playable, but it's still quite impressive. I believe it is one of the only full-screen scrollers for the Apple II or GS.
Note: this really needs to be played on a real IIgs for best performance. I've tested it on a ROM 01 and ROM 3 machine. It will fit on an 800KB disk and you need about 200KB of free RAM.
