SE/30 Horizontal Stripes and Hot UG6!

I know this topic comes up a lot.  But my SE/30 is having issues.

Known problems:

1) Horizontal stripes (nothing else)

2) No audio at all

3) Heavily corroded.

Here is what I've done:

1)  Cleaned as much green corrosion as I possibly could with vinegar, scrubbing, IPA, etc.  No noticeable damaged traces.

2)  Removed battery (battery did NOT leak)

3)  Washed, re-washed, cleaned and re-cleaned.

4)  Re-capped digital board.

OK, so long story short, I think literally every electrolytic cap on the board leaked.  I've cleaned as best I could.  I've scrapped off all the green stuff I can find.  But I admit the pins on half the board look "dirty" and not shiny.  Many test out OK with a continuity tester.

Now, when I power on the Mac, I get nothing but horizontal stripes with no audio at all.  But what I noticed this time that the UG6 chip gets pretty hot to the touch.  Much hotter than the other nearby chips.  The other ones, however, do get a little warm.  The '030 and other IC's are ice cold after 5 minutes.  But those socketed chips get warm.  Especially UG6.  Almost to the point it's uncomfortable.

I've confirmed they are plugged in correctly.

So, what's my next step?

Thanks!

If the board hasn't been recapped, that is your next step.  The corrosion you see was caused by the fluid in the capacitors leaking out and corroding the nearby traces and components.

Sorry, I edited my original post.  I forgot to mention that I *did* recap the motherboard.

Thanks
