Bah, there's nothing wrong with saving too many old Macs, so long as you use and (lovinngly) abuse the buggers.

Nice score on the iMac; I always liked the ruby ones. What are the specs of the machine?

It's purdy. :)

I have the software restore/install CD's for that one, if you're interested.

Nice score! This is a good time to be rescuing G3 iMacs because they're getting long in the tooth and plenty of people are selling them for next to nothing, or throwing them away.

This will change as time goes on and I expect G3 iMacs will become collectable novelties in the future. I would like to get one of every colour made but I just don't have the space!

^^

I want to do that same but only get one of each color that has firewire.

I would also get the 233MHz iMac because its the original.

I want to do that with each mac line. But only do it with each model name like PowerMacintosh (the beige 8500 and 7600) I wouldn't get each one just because the speed is slightly different. Only case designs I'm really after.

400MHz G3, 1GB of SDRAM, CD-ROM and 10GB hard drive.

I've made it a goal in life to see every iMac colour in person and take a photo of it. :)
