question about unusual diamond javelin card?

I checked the archive copy of diamond's site for 1997, 1999, and even after a certain buyout in the 2000s but it doesn't seem like there is any reference to 'javelin' series, only either stealth video cards or hauppauge-rebranded (as the model # sounds too obvious on there) tv tuners, etc .. so I'm a bit curious as to where this really came from: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/166290316334

since theres both the ti and s3 chips on it it at least appears to be a 2d & gameshappy-3d combo card perhaps so hmm I have to wonder why they split off from the stealth name but naturally what do I know?

Diamond wanted to hop on the Apple graphics card bandwagon when PC profits were slowing down. I don't think the cards were around for long and most were converted to PC ROMs and sold with adapters (since they had the apple connector).

I have one of those cards somewhere with a PC ROM I believe.

I have a Radius card that uses the same chip. It's 2D performance is pedestrian and it doesn't do 3D that I'm aware (on Mac at least).

was at relative's lake place so didn't exactly spent a lot of time looking it up initially, didn't think of that one of the two big chips won't be a processor of some sort sorry

either way thanks to @Unknown_K too
