PowerMac G4 MDD constantly kernel panics at boot, sometimes does not start properly.

Hello, recently I bought a G4 MDD tower and have switched out some capacitors in the PSU for new ones, but then I started having an issue where the system crashes every time I try to start it, and sometimes it will chime but won't boot completely (so it chimes, no video, no USB power). And sometimes, it won't chime at all. I have tried a different CPU card, different RAM, a different video card, removing hard drives... the lot. What would be suspect here? It's the dual 867 model, though I have made the FSB mod to the board and the CPU card, and clocked the CPU at ~919MHz with the help of the CPU datasheet so it is close to stock as possible. I might just need to buy brand new high quality caps for the PSU, though I'm not quite sure.

There's so may things it could be.

1. Did you go over you're re-capping work?
2. Which OS is it
3. No Chime
4. No Video
5. No USB
6. Is the RAM and VRAM installed and the correct type?
7. Did Front Side Bus change every work?
8. Over-Clocked

Bad RAM stick or incorrectly installed prevents 3,4 and 5 usually. If you're sure of the RAM then your mods are likely the issue. What about a Battery, could it need one to boot? Any other processors available to try?

1. Yes. However I didn't use the best caps... which could partly be my issue. I plan to buy fresh new ones from Digikey soon.
2. 10.5.8
6. Yes, and installing my Ti4600 actually got me further, but not to a point where the computer would work.
7. It should, many people have had success with doing this.
8. I have a non-OC'd 1.25GHz card, but it might also be an issue... using the original 867 card with an appropriate adjustment didn't help either. Starting to think the issue is also motherboard related, and I am thinking of getting an MDD 2003 motherboard since those seem to be more reliable
