PowerCD and Remote for $127

$127 was a little more than I wanted to pay, but this was in really nice shape. And I've been dying to get my hands on a PowerCD for a good year now. I connected my AppleDesign Speakers to it to try it out. It sounds really good for such an old system. They just make them like they used too!

Am I right that the PowerCD never actually came with matching speakers? They had to be purchased separately, the dark grey ones marketed for the PowerBook? I'd love to get my hands on a pair.

You mean that they don't make them like they used too, because they really don't anymore!

Awesome score, btw. Definitely worth the $127.

100% worth the $127 IMO.

The charcoal speakers were indeed optional, not packaged together with the PowerCD.

Nice work, love your collection.

Thanks!

I'll have to keep an eye on eBay for those speakers. Fingers crossed.

Just got one off eBay for $60! Has the remote, unit, dock, power brick and some cables, I get to pick it up tomorrow. Woot!
