OS 9 in the box - 2 different boxes

I love collecting vintage OSes. It's like a collection within a collection. It's taken me a while to score OS 9 in the box. I have a few copies of OS 9 that came with 10.0 and 10.1, as well as with some of my iBooks, but I've never had OS 9 in the retail box.

I finally filled the gap between OS 8 and OS X in my OS collection by picking up a few retail boxes of OS 9.

I always thought picking up an OS 9 box would have been a relatively simple conquest. I figured it's old enough that it's of no use to non-collectors, but not old enough to be extremely hard to find. I mean, you can buy Windows 98 for $20 bucks on eBay. OS 9 is of the same vintage. You'd think it would be pretty cheap.

Apparently, that's not the case at all.

OS 9 in the box regularly goes for a good $50 or so. Some auctions I've seen have been as high as $100 for a sealed box. That's crazy money for an obsolete OS!

I didn't want to pay more than $40 or so for it, so I was very pleased to finally score a near-perfect box for only $26.55 and another for $40. So, they averaged out to about $30 each. I can live with that.

The one "Featuring Sherlock 2" is version 9.0.

The one "Featuring iTools" is version 9.0.4.

Both of the backs are the same:

9.0.4 has a flip-open cover featuring iTools. The 9.0 doesn't have a flip open cover.

So it looks like I still have to keep my out for version 9.1 and 9.2. The question is, how many different box designs are there? Can you guys post some pics of your OS 9 boxes for the different versions out there so I know what variations to look for?
