Hey guys I have a bunch of macs that I am going to be giving away to you guys in time for xmas [:D] ]'> but first I want help with my two mac IIci(s). So I wish to keep one, I like it the most, although its not as power full as my quadra or other 68k macs, and only has a floppy drive. So now lets get down to what I need help with:

1) I want to reinstall my OS (7.5 I believe) I have retail floppies for 7.1, and 7.5 and a cd of 7.5. Do I just pop it in before the boot, and will it just go on?

2) Although the IIci doesn't have a cd drive, I have an external scsi CD drive, and external HD, but have no idea how to get them to work, or where to get drivers or ANYTHING really.

Those are really the two main problems I can think of now, so if I can put a fresh install of mac OS, and get them to recognize my external cd drive and HD I'll gladly give my other macs a new home within the 68k MLA.

Given a reasonable amount (eg 20MB) of RAM, a IIci will run OS 7.6.1 gladly and gracefully. However, given that you have System 7.5 already, you can update that to 7.5.3 with a free update from Apple (or download 7.5.3 as a standalone upgrade). If you mean, "Does it need also the sacrifice of a dove, or maybe an ox?" the answer is 'No'. Have you not installed from floppy disk before now? System 7.5.3 as an Upgrade arrives as a 19-part disk image, which you place on your IIci's desktop within one folder, and activate by clicking on Part 1. The System does the rest, given that at least 7.0.1 is already present. There is a text file at the Apple site to guide you.

Although the IIci doesn't have a cd drive, I have an external scsi CD drive, and external HD, but have no idea how to get them to work, or where to get drivers or ANYTHING really.
Given that you have a 'system cable' (DB-25M to CN-50M) to connect your terminated external CD-ROM drive to the IIci, there should be no problem of recognition. If a CD contains a valid System Folder (ie, it is a bootable CD), you should be able to start up with the c key held down until Happy Mac appears, and take it from there.

8 x 1MB is the least amount of RAM to make the game worth the candle. More is better, especially if you are not using a video card with its own VRAM.
