Ha. Reminds of the time my brother picked up a box of hors d'oeuvres my Mom had in the kitchen and asked her what "horses doovers" were.

Although I love my G4 sawtooth-cased Mac "clone", I would really love to pack a powerful MiniITX hackintosh into an older 68k case, like a Q700 or IICX/CI. That would be quite a sleeper.

I'm going to put the guts of my iMac into an IBM 5160 (and vice-verse...). Now we're talking.

Heh, if I can find a busted G5 tower for cheap, I might put my IIfx logic into it.

@Bunsen:

And for the finishing touch:

I had to take the filter panels off both sides to do that. Took about 5 minutes each side to remove the plastic rivets. The sticker is the Apple stickers that shipped with Apples and then it's mounted to the filter panel. Not quite the best, but it's clean when it comes to adding them vs. the exterior

I would like to make a comment about the Micorcenter USB 3.0 Thumb drive, the green one that is in the picture.

When writing an image to it, I still only get about 7.5 MB/s, However when reading, I was getting 45 MB/s to where usually the other USB 2.0 thumb drive I have was toping out around 25 - 28 MB/s (Read) about 5.5 MB/s write.

I ended up switching over to the Clone from the iMac,

It does have one small issue, no sleep mode.

The iMac has been retired to the closet :)
