Man, what a score. I grabbed this for $10 on my way up to a computer rummage. It's the 3-ring binder edition of Inside Macintosh volumes I through V plus the X-Reference and ResEdit expansion. The two binders even have the original Apple packing slips and receipts! :D (there's an apology that they were out of stock of the free repair tools.) :p

Did a quick Google and apparently volumes IV, V, and the complete X-Ref haven't been scanned to PDF? Maybe I'll do that next week. I have a big Xerox WorkCentre Pro at work that I had used to scan the Kinetics manual. It automatically OCRs and Indexes the PDfs as it scans.

Awesome find, and auto-OCR'ed PDFs of those would be badass!

Also cool to see an old HL name on here. I used to go by "Necromancer" on there but you prolly won't remember me (altho I recognize your name right away). Either way, HL guy here since '97 :)

Well, I get confused with oleBuzzard a lot. My handle is a parody of his, I changed it from Chuckles to olePigeon because someone on 2600 said my old handle didn't sound like a hacker name. oleBuzzard wrote a bunch of cracking tutorials and is internet famous. But, yeah, I hung around on Hotline a lot back in the day. I helped moderate Freak's Macintosh Archives and 2600, and ran my own server, Chuckles' Tavern (I still have all the files somewhere on a zip disk.) I found it funny that I knew dittily squat about cracking and hacking, but somehow wiggled my way into moderation. :)
